Nope. Not even close to horror.in a way, pretty much everything Shayamalan has done for over a decade has been horror
i agree that it wasn't a horror movieNope. Not even close to horror.
Haven't seen it suprisingly... You or @B_dub should give us your opinions on it!
I thought it was decent. Definitely worth a watch. It was weird, it's gory as hell, but done in a artistic way at times if that makes any sense. Definitely a WTF ending. Goes from a serial killer aspect to something I didn't really expect.Haven't seen it suprisingly... You or @B_dub should give us your opinions on it!
Thanks for the ideas man. Really dig your taste in movies. The Pact and The Canal were especially 2 movies that kind of snuck up on me.Just lookin for Netflix suggestions? Well here's a chunk to get you started... I'm not sure if they are all still on Netflix, but they at least used to be:

Getcha binge on!
I wish they would have made that movie with actual monsters. Thought that had great potential up until the letdown of the actual reveal. Having said that, it was extremely well acted though. The Village was a horror movie?
I think everyone that didn't like it would agree with this. I am in that boat. Had some great potential. I loved how they presented the creatures during most of the movie... The blurry out of focus peripheral shots especially. It was like getting to see the monsters through the eyes of the blind girl, but not actually through her eyes obviously. Almost as if Shyamalan forced his audience to be impaired so-to-speak. Not sure if that makes sense... I'm about half-past a sixer & a bottle of wine right now so I'm probably not making as much sense as I think I am lol.I wish they would have made that movie with actual monsters. Glad to be of service my man! Seems like we have very similar taste in horror. So if you have any recommendations, then throw 'em my way! Thanks for the ideas man. Really dig your taste in movies. The Pact and The Canal were especially 2 movies that kind of snuck up on me.
Loved Kristy too. I'm going to make my wife watch that one simply to show her what happens everytime you go out late for ice cream.
Also saw that Rings was about to hit redbox (May 2nd). Anyone see that yet? Worth it?
Yep... IIRC, its the 3rd installment. Been a long time since I've seen either of the first 2.That's the sequel to the one with the creepy chick who climbs out of the well and then out of the tv screen, right?
Sometimes I get my American remakes of Japanese horror flicks mixed up...
Haven't seen it suprisingly... You or @B_dub should give us your opinions on it!
That was excellent. The Midnight Meat Train (2008)- I saw it when it was first out. I remembered it as being a pretty good horror movie and that I enjoyed Vinnie Jones in it. What I didn't remember was that Bradley Cooper (pre-blow up) is the lead and Brooke Shields is in it. Based on a Clive Barker story.
Certainly worth a watch!
Love the list... But IMHO The Ruins has no business being in there!1. The Exorcist
2. Blood Feast
3. Alien
4. Jaws
5. Rosemary's Baby
6, Frankenstein ( the original)
7. The Shining
8. Salem's Lot ( mini series)
9. The Ruins
10. The Omen
