They've seen him play and workout. There's no word he failed a physical or presented another concern about being or staying on the field. There's more to this story... Maybe he wants more money than others?

I could very easily be wrong but this time of year seems like failed physical makes the most sense. If it's about more money then the cut makes sense. UDRFA should have zero pull. He should be asking Mac if he wants anything from Dunkin while he's driving in.

Unlikely a failed physical. They are required by the league to report that.

My 2 cents? He was told he was unlikely to make the team. Getting cut may "help you get on another team"
If nobody picks him up, he can sign with PS. We likely don't see enough in him to be a lock to survive on the PS.

I've been so freakin' busy, that I haven't had much free time to look for interesting articles or watch TV. When you can't remember pulling up the bed covers, you know it's been a long day. Thanks to a Harley sitting on the corner and revving his bike at 1:20 am, my night has been a bit sporadic and I finally rolled out at 4:49 am today. Not much going on so I sat in the dark looking for something, anything of interest. It's like a pisshole in the snow. Writers and other media folk are bored to tears and are clamoring for clicks. If you're as bored with NFL news as I've been, you might find some humor in this article. Writer posted it at midnight. Thursday must be his payday.

I don't know seems like a reach. I read an article that placed Thornton in the slot too, seems every writer wants to be righter than than the other. If you keep guessing sooner or later you'll be correct

Seems that BB is not keeping injured or hampered guys around unless they have performed in the past. He's cut guys this year and now the roster is at 83-84 when there are 90 slots. BB said that there is no need to have players on the roster that will not play, make the PS or participate in camp. Sounds like Bill isn't going to waste time on longshots or extreme projects.


I've begun cancelling all of the TV shows locally and televised podcasts like Curran and Perry. Will be cancelling cable Tuesday. Amazing how much stuff that's available up here regarding the Patriots. AND worse, how much crap I actually watch because I'm such a die hard fan. I just hope that the withdrawl doesn't start me drinking again out of boredom. Guess I'll have to take up golf again.

I know a lot of people give up a lot of shit nearing their demise and that never seemed right to me, if fact seems the exact opposite of how it should be. Now if drinking turns you into a raging alcoholic incapable of nothing more than drinking to kill yourself that is a horse of another color. If he or anyone can limit themselves to one or two a night, no harm no foul.
