Not suggesting firing anyone this season or next season and I'm OK with them getting a couple draft cycles. However I'm not confident about the outlook. Before firing people, how about we allow Mac and the FO get a couple of draft cycles under their belt. Most of these guys are Pete's guys so lets get Mac guys and see what happens.
I worded it badly but never said next season. I'm for keeping things as is until AFTER the 2025 season then see where the team is at. If it goes the way I think it will go, then start over. Personally don't feel JS is the right choice to land a franchise QB, you got to have some balls and move up to land that franchise guy or you have to be DAMN lucky and some how one falls in your lap. JS is too much risk adverse to ever gamble that way and yes it's a gamble but personally prefer the risk to seeing medicore outcomes that are JUST good enough not to get folks fired for a bit.You said fire the GM and coaching staff next season
Damn it! Does he eat people for recreational sport or for fun?Hello jerseyhawksfan79,
I'm not at liberty to discuss the various strap on devices and objects that Sharkonabicycle may or may not wear during recreational or professional related activities. For all I know it could be several, but this is purely speculation.
I would encourage you to message directly. It is likely he will be back online posting within 24 hours.
Thanks!
Dr. Claire Thompson
This team is filled with Pete guys that a few will probably stick but the rest need to be cycled out. You're asking way too much after 8 games. Look at Detroit and who they were under Campbell year 1 and look at them now. Timely trades and drafting is why they are now SB contenders. His first presser was about capping knees and I'm 100000000000000000000000000% sure not one Lions fan now would ever change that first image of him.Not suggesting firing anyone this season or next season and I'm OK with them getting a couple draft cycles. You, @JMR and I have been doing football for a lonnnnnnngggggg time.Seahawks coaching options
Did they bring any other candidates into seattle? I dont think they did but maybe i wrongsportshoop.la
Always fun reading these threads… seems like most of us, if not all of us were cool with MacDonald being hired.
Oh yes… I miss those two… could you imagine them today with how good the Chiefs are? You, @JMR and I have been doing football for a lonnnnnnngggggg time.
25 years later and we all seem to see things much the same way.
Remember DrRed and Big58?
25 years is all? *snickers*
Former Detroit Lions and Cowboys fan before the hawks had a team. Hey I was young back then, i didn't know any better.
On the other hand in 2009 Paul Allen fired Mora after 1 year and brought in PC and I think it would almost unanimously be agreed that was the right call. This team is filled with Pete guys that a few will probably stick but the rest need to be cycled out. Don't get me wrong, I'm not advocating for letting MacDonald go after 1 season. Just pointing out we have seen success for this franchise in doing so.
If we keep up the complete lack of discipline we may enter that territory. They need to reign that shit in before its too late..Mora clearly had no control over the team and no direction. He lost the locker room as well.
Gregg Bell was taking about the game this morning and pretty much agreed that it doesn't matter what you are installing or play calling if you can't compete on both lines against good teams.
He also reminded the fans that the offense failed twice inside the 5y and cost them 14pts they could have had.
The story was costly mistakes and a way outclassed defense.
The run game continues to be a problem and it mostly centers on line play.
He pointed out the many misses in the draft, trades, and injuries across that O line.
It's a total disaster right now.
