If your going to come up short either way isn't it better to do so with the younger cheaper option? Vikings have a top rookie option in their pocket. If Richardson doesn't pan out or does pan out, keep looking for opportunities at the QB position during drafts like the Packers have done over the years.This is only reasonable if you are comfortable with multiple 4 or 5 win seasons.
