Cheap, young and mobile sounds better then old and expensive. A bridge to get to the next good QB class. Improve the roster where possible in next year draft then do what is needed to land the QB of the future in 2026 prospect. Hopefully that will be a good QB class with options.

YES! Cheap is what we need. Use this up coming draft to beef up the lines or in my only case Dillion Gabriel if he falls that far in the draft. I hope he falls to us cause I think he's the real deal.

I mentioned this upthread but I really blame either Grubb or Lockett for Geno's pick.


Either Lockett needs to flare out closer to the 10 than the 5 OR Grubb has to design better red zone route trees. On this play JSN should have been running a full crosser and Lockett need to be upfield more. This play made it way too easy for the defense to cover the play.

3rd and 9 you got to get to the sticks. Also that was not a good throw period. Geno would have been better off going to DK's side where the defender had his back to Geno, Throw it up to DK and let him make a play or it falls incomplete and you kick the FG.

The real issue is how late he was throwing that ball. That ball has to come out earlier to either Lockett as soon as he turns or a fade to the back corner of the endzone. either of these plays means the ball comes out as soon as you hit your back foot. Geno shuffles his feet and this causes the pass to be late. As soon as his back foot hit the 20 the ball should have been thrown.

Ball should have went to JSN on time. Also if Geno steps up to his right around charbs he could have ran for the first down himself if not a TD. The highest risk throw on this play is to the TE.
