They wouldn't last very long here. They get really butthurt when you insult their lack of intelligence. Bennie's logic is to sign every FA that can hit. He wanted JD to sign Napoli, Cruz, Abreu, and McCann. He's honestly not worth arguing with over baseball.
That's like the farmer who said, if you don't think that one watermelon is ripe you can buy out the field.:bullshit:

He doesn't understand why people tell him he is wrong but then he posts garbage like this: "Now that he is running my team into the ground I will speak up when I think he is wrong."

Not losing Rios is not the end of the world. But you better find a way to get 2 SP's this offseason. Frankly, I don't really know how you do it without trading EA or Profar

They should trade EA he just isn't worth that contract

I'm snide and pompous according to Bennie. He's right! Doesn't make me wrong about him being an idiot when it comes to baseball.

A concept he never seemed to grasp. I might be a dick sometimes, that doesn't make me wrong.

Not worth contract....

Should trade....

Not every team is the Anaheim Angels and is willing to take Vernon Wells.

I mean he's obviously is of he can get back to that 4 War. I guess it depends if you rather go with a guy that's been proven or go with a guy you don't know about yet but has more upside

We all get a little to hot headed and say mean things to one another here. We are passionate about sports. I can also admit when I am wrong about stuff. Like for one...I didn't think it was wise to pay Abreu that kind of money based on what little we knew about him. That was me being skeptical because our Cuban can't hit himself out of a wet paper bag. Abreu has been fucking incredible, and his bat would have been awesome.

Well if the Yankees want him an are willing to pay that contract I have little problems sending him to NY for whatever pittance they might want to offer.

Apparently Cliff Lee had to leave his start with an elbow problem.

I would be ok with that as well, we obviously need bullpen pieces for next year. Healthy arms are apparently really hard to come by for the Rangers

I'm definitely on board with getting him extended.

We have so many question marks coming back from injury now, healthy is a good thing. And he's been productive.

Bennie is the king of hindsight.

We're probably seeing the end of Lee. For me, it's a shame, b/c I do like this guy, and greatly appreciate his contribution to our past success.

If JPA shows growth at 1st, then it should spell the end to the great MM experiment shouldn't it?

And let's slow down a little, watch EA for the rest of the season, and adjust from there. If he doesn't come around, it's a real pisser for the wallet, and this is never a good thing long term.

I'd be awfully hesitant about putting any eggs in the basket known as JPA.

Even if he has a great finish to the year, do you have faith it will continue into next year? He had a good 2nd half last year too. I'm waiting to see how Profar does in the Fall League and the rest of the off-season.

Dead money sucks, but sometimes you gotta just bite the bullet and trade a guy. That being said, I haven't given up on EA just yet.

I don't have many eggs in the basket at all. But I'm done with the great Moreland experience. I was trying to keep it apples-to-apples - maybe not the best apples you've ever had - but keeping it relative.

If JPA continues to show some pop, which we knew he could hit some HRs, with the idea of him getting some backup time at 1st/catcher/DH, that's some really nice versatility.

Certainly not losing sight of his role is backup to all those 3.
