No More "Bullpen Failure"
Yeah, it would definitely be a mistake. That is the way I felt when they traded for Hamels and Lucroy.right, but a good player with 3 years of control would cost a fortune

Piece of cake. That means we have to clear 9 a week after the season ends just to get to 40
I guess so we can trade away some of them and DFA somePiece of cake.
Yes, as explained previously... there's plenty of guys that are only on the roster, bc they don't/didn't want to rush other playersI guess so we can trade away some of them and DFA some
Once we lost a year of development due to Covid, I was glad we didn't sign him too.
The pursuit of him was one of JD's most embarrassing moments though. Him and Boras just don't mix. Boras must have been very put out with both the Rendon and Gallo negotiations. Boras just doesn't play that game.
we won out with choo who was a Boras client. I’d argue that deal ended up being bad and hurt us tho. We extended Elvis despite boras wanting him to go to free agency.
JD has dealt with Boras before, but we’ve never really benefitted from it.
All they needed is to play usSox can hit.
The good to very good will not sign the 2 or 3 year contracts that JD and the Rangers want so unless we go with a 5 to 7 year contract we will see not much more than average to below averageIf you are adding a FA this year then unless you want to flip him the 7 year contract could easily happen. Might as well wait in my mind unless Seager is in play
AgreeI’ve probably seen enough of Peters. Good fielder.
I son't mind waiting if the same quantity of quality is still there in later years. If, as I have read, this year's class is superior to other years then we may have to strike while it is there. As long as we are going to get quality in 2023, 24, 25 and 26.If you are adding a FA this year then unless you want to flip him the 7 year contract could easily happen. How’s Jung doing in his debut in Round Rock?Alexy goes 5 shutout innings for Round Rock, giving up 3 hits and 1 walk while striking out 3.
He is pushing for a spot in the rotation next year.
So far he is 0 for 2 with a walk and a strike out. How’s Jung doing in his debut in Round Rock?
