What happened to using Burke in that role like last year? It seems he thrived in that role versus the shorter role they have him in this year.

Also, Ragans was supposed to be in that same role and I don't think he has pitched longer than 2 innings more than 2 or 3 times.

Ragans and Burke should be able to cover Dunning's old role, which is a much lesser role now any way.

Hopefully he picks up the pace. He hasn’t performed up to last year in my book

Positive of that is because of Dunning we are able to overcome his being out. If we could continue this trend we could baby deGrom somewhat and have him healthy for the playoffs. Not an easy thing to maneuver but a luxury. We have to beef up our BP and looking at AAA there's not a lot to choose from there.

I don't even remember hearing about Abimelec Ortiz before this year. He is putting together a fine year. He is 21 and this is his third year in the system. His career OPS is .830. This year it is up over 1.000
