Just coming to post this. The best part is his slash line in the last 21 games. I kept waiting for him to turn it around all year. Also, I don't care how many strikeouts he has if he can slash anything close to that.

Like I said I would dearly love see him, Jung on the field in 2022 probably not opening day but at least half the season

If he starts off next year hitting like he has the last 3 weeks, I bet he doesn't stay in AAA long next year. Maybe 6 weeks to 2 months.

I take This writer with a grain of salt. The new ones are perhaps more media “with it” but come across green and non baseball lifers. Plus just as in new business culture, you don’t ruffle feathers if dues are not yet paid

So I do not think we will get many but as TX Star Saddles stares. Let just get us one elite as more is on the way

I agree, but he has already had experience up here so I think that part of his game would be fine already. They thought enough of his catching last year to let him do it up here so I wouldn't think it would stunt his development or anything. He could learn up here. And Pudge would be handy.

I don't think a writer would be paying his dues by raising false expectations. That would seem contrary to not ruffling feathers. That might make some enemies in the front office.
