Sad thing is that we are 0-3 in the last 3 games that our 3 best starters pitched. In two of those Gray and Heaney pitched well. Those are the games we need to win. The offense has really let us down in this series.

What a downer for Gray and Heaney. Hope they can deal with it and not let it effect them going forward.

Granted, I'm not on here all the time. But I very surprised at the hand wringing, and what I'd call 'way overacting' to a team which has 6 of it's top 8 starters injured, and several other injuries (Jung & Lowe) to it's offense, as well as an underperforming Seager. Yet, we're three games over .500, and perhaps most importantly, the season is only (approximately) twenty-five percent in the books.

This is almost too hard to watch. We get swept by this team this would qualify as a red flag. Injuries aside we should not have this hard of time scoring runs against this team.

This series is all on the offense. Pitching has been awesome. Gray and Heaney were outstanding.

Agree and then to make matters worse we pick up Grossman. That's not improving the offense.

Urena has been outstanding again. Reminds me of Dunning when he ws in the pen before joining the rotation.

Too bad the BP blew it last night. Even Robertson had a bad game. But he and Yates are 39 and 37 years old respectively.

I wish in this case Maddux would just go out and lay into a guy who can't throw strikes.

The injuries make it hard on a team but they put themselves in the position they have with poor decision making when it came to filling out the bullpen in the offseason.

To exacerbate the issue, the really poor choices on who to bring in, at critical junctures of the game, when you’re trying to win, makes it so much worse. Bochy and Maddux use of the bullpen has sucked most of last year and so far this year as well. Piss poor
