Clase who now has a 6 ERA was fortunate last night. After loading the bases in the 9th with a 3-1 lead he gave up a base hit that should have tied the game but the tying runner pulled up halfway between 3rd and home with a hamstring injury and was tagged out.

So I am probably in the middle here on this board re Corbin. 100 % he is not a playoff caliber pitcher but he did ok getting away with some stuff. Hate he coughed up the lead

Like that Harris was called up and hope he gets a start over Leody who is way too inconsistent defensively
I can live with him at 9 but defense loses us games at times IMO

Still he will now not get us any return and he will not get paid next year like they pretty much we’re not going to pay Lowe but at least got us García

Corbin is all we have right now. Making Teodo and Acker relief pitchers pretty much assured us that any depth beyond what we have, along with Bradford, Gray, and Leiter is going to be a veteran who couldn't get a job in the big leagues this spring. It seems the Rangers prefer it this way. Corbin is who he has been - a guy who will struggle to keep an ERA below 5.50.

To me, he is not only not a playoff caliber pitcher, he is also a pitcher who can keep you out of the playoffs if he gets too many starts.

He shouldn't start over anyone else in the rotation now, nor does he deserve to start over Bradford, Gray or Leiter. Once 5 of those 7 guys are healthy, then Corbin needs to go back to the minors.

If Dunning would not have completely fallen apart or if Teodo had not had his time as a starter halted, then Corbin most likely would not even be on the 40-man.

Angels with 5 homers today now lead AL with 28 in 12 games and they have Zack Neto coming back who has power.

I wonder what Ron Washington is putting in their protein drinks.

Jansen has been good as a closer too

Have to keep an eye on them

Maybe 1 or 2 more starts but have to think they make Jin the Ming man
They mofht, unless they want to keep him stretched out for starting pitching depth. They definitely need some of that.

Wish Langford would have been back for the Angels series.

Paris set AL record for most HR’s and stolen bases in his first 10 games of a season.

His career batting average in the minors is in the .230’s.

Evan Carter didn't start tonight's game for Round Rock, but he did pinch hit in the 9th. He hit a solo HR.

102.1 mph.
400 ft.

Osuna and Walcott are really struggling at the start of this season. Walcott went 0-5 striking out 4 times.

Walcott doesn't surprise me. He struggled at the beginning of last year also. Each level usually takes some adjusting to.

Osuna does surprise me some, but then again even Seager struggled to begin the season, and Osuna's season started a week later than Seager's.

He said he made some adjustments that somewhat models Judge
