No More "Bullpen Failure"
The good thing is, unlike last year, this year we have options. We don't have to stick it out at closer. We have 3 other options.
Church might make that 5 options at some point soon. The good thing is, unlike last year, this year we have options. We don't have to stick it out at closer. We have 3 other options.
He definitely needs to be moved out of the closers spot.I don't think he has an option left. I could be mistaken.
Hope we start planning on trying out the other options and don't put our head in the sand and keep throwing Leclerc out there. The good thing is, unlike last year, this year we have options. We don't have to stick it out at closer. We have 3 other options.

His first game was not good.
The Rangers are letting their starters have an extra day of rest according to Jeff Wilson.Speaking of hitting 3 batters the other night I see where Shane Green in 1 inning of work hit 3 batters, walked 3 and gave up a hit and 5 runs. Winn was good the first 2 innings he pitched but stayed out for a 3rd inning and didn't fare so well.
There are some who question Leody's defense based on bad routes taken and his arm. I believe Jamey Newberg is one of them.Question for the board
To me they like Leodys defense enough to start him but is he a defense first CF with offense as an afterthought?
Who do you think are our best defensive CFs in the last few years and or in the system?
