There are some who question Leody's defense based on bad routes taken and his arm. I believe Jamey Newberg is one of them.

If either Duran, Smith, Foscue or Walsh turns out to be good enough with the bat this year, to stay at DH, then Leody probably needs to sit and eventually traded. After this year, guys like Harris, Ortiz, Crim, and Zavala could be ready, so if Leody is traded, he will not be missed in our lineup. At some point next year, we may also be looking for a way to get Walcott in the lineup. Carter needs to play CF.

In the past, I have liked Hamilton and Garcia in CF. Further back it was GMJ, D. Hamilton, Oddibe, and my all-time favorite, Juan Beniquez.

I had the inside scoop on tic behind the plate while D Hamilton was playing. he was good
JB had a huge arm. Think I am partial to Dew Stubbs even over Gentry

If we get to the point that Leody becomes a defense only. Maybe there is an upgrade

If EC had a little more arm he would be our best defensively bar none

Antoine Kelly came in tonight and struck out the side on 10 pitches. That is 2 scoreless innings from him so far this year. I really like Antoine Kelly a lot. I think we are going to see him up here at some point within the next month or so.
