No More "Bullpen Failure"
I don't think his arm or his jaw injuries had anything to do with fragility.Re Calhoun Although talented it is wrong to think he might be a tad fragile

Lol. That was his manager who was the liar.Ha Dutch dog fiasco was 100 % legit right
Point is wow. Guys are prone to misfortune. Not saying we should release him obviouslyLol. That was his manager who was the liar.
Which is why I said our standard for building a team should be our 2011 lineup. A DH needs to bat higher in lineup. All this fuss over Calhoun. Nothing against the guy, but the goal should be a team where he's at the bottom of the totem pole, not the top.
Unfortunately, we have a team full of bottom of the totem pole, and below, guys. All this fuss over Calhoun. Nothing against the guy, but the goal should be a team where he's at the bottom of the totem pole, not the top.
Personally I hope he makes it but I’ve seen enough of him with the Rangers and would rather move on and see what others can bringWhich is why I said our standard for building a team should be our 2011 lineup. A DH needs to bat higher in lineup.
So if we do drop him it won’t be some horrendous front office blunder. Don’t think we will just yet. Just saying
Some we know that about them others we would premature to make that call on them. We could make that call next off-season when have a better picture of themUnfortunately, we have a team full of bottom of the totem pole, and below, guys.
He was ranked #3 in the Dodgers loaded system in 2016
The question is where would he rank in our system right now? I wouldn’t have him in our top 50 maybe even in our top 70.He was ranked #3 in the Dodgers loaded system in 2016
You prefer Spencer Hovward perhaps?Might say more about...
LOL nah I got nothing. Just can't say I have a lot of interest in Calhoun anymore, from a roster standpoint

We differ in our opinion of CalhounRight now, IMO, I would say he’s pretty high up.
If he gets 500 plate appearances next year I think he will outperform everyone on the current roster besides Possibly Nate Lowe and Adolis.
I think Nate Lowe will be close to 30hr/30 doubles next year.. probably closer to 25/30 tho.
Adolis hopefully won’t regress like we saw with Danny Santana.
Votto doing his HOF work as usual. Oppo HRCincinnati is already all over the Pirates 3-0
