No More "Bullpen Failure" - maybe
It makes no sense to put him in the OF where we have a glut. Anything to keep from having him stay at 2B I guess.

Ever since we acquired this Solak kid he has done nothing but hit.
His slash line in a little over 100 PA is 340/.375/.680 for an OPS of 1.055.
He reminds me of another kid we traded for that did nothing but hit after we traded for him. We got that first kid when we traded Loaiza to the Blue Jay's. It was some kid named Young, Michael Young I believe. The difference being that Young's OPS was about 230 points lower than Solak's so far and Young did his damage in AA.
I think it is time to tell Roogie that he needs to gets some work in at other positions in the offseason because he will be a utility player in 2020.JD doesn’t want to give up on his hand picked 2nd baseman odor.

I am good with that except Heinemen. I am not sold on him at this point.Gallo, Elvis, Calhoun, Santana, Solak, and Heineman should all be in the Opening Day lineup next year.
I am not sold on him yet either, but I think we need to find out. He has had success at AAA so I think the only way we can find out how good he can become is to try him everyday up here for a few months. Is he a AAAA player or can he contribute up here? Let's find out.I am good with that except Heinemen. I am not sold on him at this point.
Ok. I hope he gets more time this year. But they sent him down. Evidently they want to play DDJ more. FWIW. Scott does not pass the eye test near as well as Willie RakesI am not sold on him yet either, but I think we need to find out. They can play DeShields for now, but it will be time to move on from him as a starter after this year. The same with Odor.Ok. I hope he gets more time this year. But they sent him down. Evidently they want to play DDJ more. FWIW. Scott does not pass the eye test near as well as Willie Rakes
Which is why you let Heineman play this yearThey can play DeShields for now, but it will be time to move on from him as a starter after this year. The same with Odor.
The eye test can be deceiving. Let's give him playing time and use the stats test. We have had a few guys fail that test who once passed the eye test.
I don't get why they sent him down so quickly. Mayne it has to do with options or service time. Whatever they do with him this year, he still needs a lot of playing time next year to find out anything about him.Which is why you let Heineman play this year
