Series Thread: Rangers Host Toronto For Three Games September 17-19

Rocker is going to have some of these outings where he can't command his FB. Won't go more than 3, maybe 4 innings today.

In other news, Jonah Heim, maybe the worst hitter in baseball, is DH.

I'm not too bothered by Rocker's start today. I know he walked 4 but at the same time struck out 5 and gave up just 2 hits in his 3 innings. Only 1 run earned.
It's possible he was amped up for his 1st home start. If he stays healthy I really forsee great things with this guy.

i know but i watched the game and Gausman threw 9 pitches in the 1st. Seimen swung at all 4 pitches he saw made weak connect on the 3rd. Smith 2 pitches and a weak popup and Langford 3 pitches and a weak grounder to 2nd base. they just looked like they didn't want to be there

I think it had to do with Gausman. He’s pitched very good against the Rangers a few times.

Abimelec Ortiz sent the Roughriders to extra innings. They were down by a run and Ortiz was down to his last strike. That's when he hit his game tying HR. In the 11th he hit the walk off sacrifice fly.

could be but it seems like every 3 or 4 games the offense doesn't show up no matter who the opponent troops out there
