So rosters expand and we will see Leiter added.

Have to think one more position player but since Scherzer is intent on pitching again this year that might mean no Crim unless someone loses a roster spot.

Harris might be hurt so wonder if it is Ornelas

Oh well
I thought Harris played last night at Round Rock.

Ornelas amd Owen White are brought up.

I am not sure what else Crim could do.

Ornelas is simply in the way in this organization. Him being placed on the 40-man was a head scratcher two years ago, and him remaining there is, as well.
just tells it all about this team.

white has a career MLB 19+ ERA

and Ornelas has a .150 BA

From Jeff Wilson:

My takeaway from Bruce Bochy this morning regarding #Rangers' September call-ups is that they could be rotated all month. Dustin Harris, Blaine Crim are names club has discussed as possibilities.

Almost replied to this but a bit disgusted with lineups lately. Hopefully Foscue gets to play regularly and Duran makes it in

So far there are three of us who replied saying Crim should already be up. Along with my other comment about Ornelas, those make up the 4 comments thus far. Lol

Really call up White and Ornelas. One can’t pitch and the other one can’t hit. Typical move by this organization.

No, I was referring to replies to Jeff Wilson's tweet. I think just about everyone on here is on board with Crim being given a chance.

I can see White, but not Ornelas. We don't really have anyone beating down the door to be called up for the pen.

White has had more success as of late in the pen, so I am okay with that. I am not holding my breath that White will impress or anything, though.

The Rangers are in a interesting position with him for next season, no doubt. But I don't know his contract status. But he seemed out of sorts almost from day one this season. It was almost like the old joke of 'he's trying to hit a grand slam, yet there's no one on base' kind of things......He's never been a hit for avg kind of hitter, but his RBI contribution the previous 3 years was 90/101/107 are terrific. This year is dismal in comparison. So, I don't know what was going on with him this season - between his ears - but hopefully he'll get back to his previous levels next season and RF will not only be position of no concern, but one we can count on without worry.

He is under contract for 2025.
