Parenteau's price is going up by the day. I admit I'll be disappointed if Wang doesn't resign him. However P.A. would be foolish to not take advantage of his opportunity to break the bank as an UFA.

I highly doubt either of those two get dealt for a possible rental unless the Isles are sending a high pick back (2nd or higher). The most I see Wilson giving up for a rental is one of his 2nd rounders and a mid level prospect like Irwin. PA would be a nice pick up but I'd prefer Nielson.

Going into the PO's I'd love to see the Sharks forward lines look something like:

Havlat - Thornton - Pavelski
Marleau - Couture - Clowe
McGinn - Nielson - Mitchell / Another Trade
Winchester - Handzus - Desjardins

If Dougie could pick up Nielson and Parenteau that would be something but last I read Snow is expected to sign one of Nielson or PA and trade the other.

Nielson will cost you a 1st round pick. Parenteau might as well. Garth said the other day he's talking to their agents. If the Isles can't resign them, the bidding war will begin.

Parenteau isn't playing on JT's line anymore. His points are legit. He's really good on the powerplay as well.
