Man, I’m not posting every one of his updates but Nightengale has some solid tweets this morning about direction teams will be taking.

It’s kind of funny to watch Jon Heyman today. He’s just reposting what he’s stolen from Bob Nightengale.

what a weird trade :suds:

Brewers acquired RHP Frankie Montas from the Reds for RHP Jakob Junis, OF Joey Wiemer and cash considerations.
Montas officially joins the Brew Crew in a trade that was reported late Monday night. The 31-year-old will become a mid-rotation starter for the Brewers, and he’ll hope to lower the 5.01 ERA he procured in his first — and only — year as a member of the Reds.

But why though with these prices? Do you think you guys have the stuff to get hot for 5-6 weeks and win a World Series?

A starter and especially a lefty reliever?

Absolutely. We’ve had one of the best records and offenses in baseball since April 22nd.

With health probably have the deepest lineup. Have 3 great back end relievers. 3 really solid starters.

It’s depth in a deep series where we’d get hurt.

The starter has to be a legit starter or price tho. What Houston gave up for trash can Kikuchi was hilarious.

Tanner Scott out of the pen. I’d pay to play.

The Twins have enough to absolutely make the playoffs. You never know with a hot run but I would venture to say nobody in the ALC is a true contender to win it all. It does seem like this year there isn't a team that doesn't have a weakness. Phillies are close to that though if they can grab another RP
