They're good. How they've held it down in the 3rd has been crazy. Stars behind and Oilers have held them to 4 and 3 shots in the last two games during the 3rd periods. I don't totally understand the Skinner stuff though. He actually looks comfortable and really good out of nowhere, which doesn't make sense.

But Stars also just don't score very many goals. They're like 2-8 in games where opponent scores 3. Something crazy like that.

Oilers have definitely locked it down when it matters, I'm shocked the Kings had a 2-0 series lead on them somehow. They had them on the ropes, better than Vegas or Dallas has done. That's why I think a retool is necessary, not a rebuild but certain non compete guys like Buster, Anderson and Edmundson need to go.

Edmundson was brought it for snarl, didn't see a modicum of it in the series. Was expecting him to decapitate someone and it didn't happen. Buster was his flashy soft self, Anderson is solid but a D3 pair on a contending team. That's one contract Bowlby got right, easily moveable.

As the POs have gone along, Edmonton defense has been stellar. Huge contrast to LA who got a lead and then twiddled their thumbs, Oilers still attacking like they're down one. Very Pantherish.

The Kings absolutely blew that pick no matter what anyone will say. There are players from 2021 and 2022 who have been better than he has been for LA. There is no doubt about that. To me its not even about Stutzle, its about guys around his age.

They didn't need to marinade either, they hit the NHL and they succeeded. Buster is nothing more than a PR stunt and a very average NHL guy. Nothing to hang your franchise on, which is very disappointing considering the last 2OA altered the franchise and was a huge cog in two Cups. This guy, all hype and nothing else. 6'5" pussy. Not a leader, not anything except a M6 forward.

I would have zero issue trading him, meaningless goals and secondary assists. This pick set LA back so hard it makes me sad. This was supposed to be a franchise changer, the next guy to lead them. It hurts to see who he is and how the Kings completely over valued him.

That is fail no matter how you slice it. Sucks the Kings messed this one up.

Q is setup perfectly for his breakout season next year. Age, injuries no longer an excuse. He'll get plenty of opportunity and playing time. I think this is it. 35g and 40a for a nice 75 point season. If after next season he puts in another 55pt performance, I'll concede.

He should most definitely....as with every season. It will depend who his linemates are, Fiala Or Marner sure, maybe. Not with the most skilled players on the team, I would bet all I got against it.

I thought 2023 was his breakout season? Not busting your balls, just don't think 55 points from a 2OA is anything to write home about. Especially when you see his peers who have out produced him.

I truly hope you're right, that only helps LA. I am not banking on it though. He may just be a M6 50 point guy who is streaky, and that's OK. Which is exactly why he is also expendable.

Way too much money for way little production. Blake bungled that contract just like he did Petersen.

He was cherry picken and nobody covered him....i still dont see much try on Dallas, sure they got a couple goals but half thd team is coasting around

This is one of the most bizarre series I've ever seen. Dallas looks like they are coasting, not even trying. So strange.
