No matter what it is, I doubt it's worth throwing his life away.

Of course man, nothing is worth such an extreme measure. People can just be irrational I guess, Rae is a good example of that. Somehow he thought the solution was murder instead of child care payments. Just irrational.

I wasn't suggesting you thought otherwise. You're one of the more level headed folks on the board.

Oh ya, this probably was at best case a Rae Carruth thing or at worst he did it himself. Looking back at the stuff they said today, they just said a man got out of a car with a gun and walked around at Hernandez's house... they didn't say a man resembling Hernandez.

Maybe he did do something stupid like hire a hitman from craigslist.

I'm kind of curious what the motive is... obviously the guy wasn't pregnant with Hernandez's baby

ya its much better to check reviews on angie's list instead

I don't know. If he gets off I don't see any reason an NFL team wouldn't sign him. The Ravens didn't cut Ray. Stallworth didn't have any trouble finding work. Michael Vick served 2 years in prison & was signed immediately upon his release. Plax is a similar case.

If he pleads guilty or gets convicted, his career's over. If he beats this thing, I think he'll be playing in the NFL at the very next opportunity.

His career is in the crapper, it's not necessarily destined to stay there. I should have been more clear about that. If he's exonerated, he'll have a shot somewhere. But that's a pretty big if right now.

The case against him right now looks pretty overwhelming. Outside of the defense showing that he was not the gun man I don't see how he gets off on this. Even if they show he did not commit the murder he would still be an accomplice to the crime which means jail time.

Hernandez was raised as a blood gang member so seeing him act like one is not too surprising. It is just dumb. in fact the new anchor on a local TV channel here for Boston said Hernandez has to be one of the dumbest guys ever.

I wonder if he will claim blood so he can be with his gang in prison instead of general population.

Whether he's a Blood or a Latin King is still idiotic - the guy had a chance to step away from that kind of life and still fell victim to it. I understand Bristol may have a growing gang influence and that losing his father had an impact on his life, but the man still had a family that cared for him. He had an opportunity to change his life but this guy blew it.

It gets worse!!!

As a matter of fact, me and my coworker was talking about this case earlier today (he's a big time Patriots fan). Shooting somebody five times means that you probably had done this before (too much experience with the exception of leaving shell cases behind). I mean that man Lloyd was afraid for his life, we were reading the papers and Lloyd was extremely afraid for his life to the point where he was texting his sister I believe hinting her that he was with "NFL", just in case something were to happen to him. The dude was seriously afraid when they were leaving his house. It tells me that he knows something very crazy about Hernandez in terms of what he is capable of doing. Hernandez, was emphasizing that he couldn't trust anybody anymore. Why?? What caused him to be so worry? It can't be just a simple drugs case. At first I thought he probably was afraid that Lloyd had leaked that he was taking PEDs or was dealing serious drugs - but that alone is not frightening enough that you had to take someone's life because you were afraid of your liberty.

This right here makes more sense as to why he would go to that extreme:

Aaron Hernandez - TE - Free Agent

Sources tell FOX 25 Boston that investigators consider Aaron Hernandez a possible suspect in a 2012 double murder that occurred in Boston.

On July 16 of last year, police responded to an intersection in downtown Boston. They found three men had been shot while stopped at a traffic light -- two of them fatally. The deceased were identified as Safiro Furtado and Daniel Abreu, and they had reportedly just left a bar. Witnesses said a gray or silver SUV with Rhode Island plates opened fire and then fled. The investigation is ongoing. Meanwhile, Hernandez was charged with the murder of Odin Lloyd on Wednesday and is facing a civil suit for shooting a man in the face in Florida in February. He'll be in court Thursday afternoon for a bail hearing.

Former Patriots tackle Matt Light on Aaron Hernandez: "I never talk about other guys, but I will say I have never embraced - never believed in - anything Aaron Hernandez stood for."

Patriots must have knew about the homicide before hand and thought they could neutralize the press by signing Tebow

So Hernandez was actual member of a gang. UF and the Patriots did a good job of hiding it.

What's it like inside your head? Seems like a crazy place. Any other guy on this board and I would assume that was facetious.

If you're talking about the Odin Lloyd homicide, Tebow was signed a week before that. No wonder the Pats are so good. They can see the future.

No surprise to see mid-sleeved Bill place a hit. You cannot convince me that there's an adult that wears mid-sleeve that can be trusted. It's an absolute contradiction. The guy that spends nights drawing up schemes, probably finally wanted to go beyond the X's and O's. Have you seen how bored this guy looks at press conferences? He's just looking for a little excitement and took his most versatile employee into the game of hunting humans. Honestly, not surprised.

You want to connect Hernandez and Belichick to the Marathon bombing?

I see. The most dangerous game, and all that?
