Just sayin that I don't understand all the speculation about why the Pats drafted AH and forked out the big bucks. They saw a potentially great player and ended up screwing the pooch. Bad decisions occur frequently in the NFL business, nothing more to it.

As much as I love to hate the Patriots, every team has players with what most people would probably consider severe character issues. They're constantly balancing risk versus reward. Hernandez was a risk but people were thinking more along the lines of drug offenses, bar fights, and DUI's and not so much that he might be a potential mass murderer.

That said, it was probably all Brady's fault.

I think they let the idea of a two TE offense with Gronk and Hernandez cloud their judgement. Again they won't be the last team to let a player's football skills bias their judgement about a players off-field activities.
