And why was the offense worse, SJ?

Because the OL was dog crap. Period. And they’ve done nothing to address and improve the OL. That is the problem.

Offense stepped back as a whole. Goff was way worse. Gurley not as good. Oline had Noteboom and Allen go down. Got better towards the end. Austin Corbett looked ok and we moved some pieces.

But again, no one was there to draft that would have started so I don’t understand the consistent outrage.

Last season, he converted 26 field goals on 30 attempts and missed only one extra point (34-of-35). He booted kicks in big moments all year, including four in the RedHawks’ Mid-American Conference Championship victory over Central Michigan.

But he lists his longest kick — a 53-yarder to give Miami the lead at Ohio University — as his favorite.

If they knew who they were going to get in the draft, as opposed to who they want, then they likely don't sign Mundt and Fricken to those 1 year deals.

Guessing those guys are likely cut, but if they didn't get those rooks they wanted, they needed to get those low budget FA pieces during Free Agency while they still were available.

To me, they’re the equivalent to pitchers in baseball. You can never have enough. Build up as much depth as you can to protect the face of the franchise on offense.
