That defense is commonly known as the 46 Defense.Should be some interesting formations next year.
Offense - 4 WR and 3 TE sets.
Defense 6-1-4.
Trend setting!

I don’t think Dye is a starter immediately. If that was the case then someone would have drafted the guy before the mid-4th round. I get he adds depth at ILB but it doesn’t shatter our hopes of being good next year
Just got through some post-4th round analysis articles of that fiasco with selecting the TE Hopkins over any a number of better players. That was a complete dumbshit move by a collective bunch of douchebags who think the O-lineman they now have on the roster are better than some AVAILABLE PLAYERS IN THIS DRAFT OF WHICH THEY HAD MORE THAN ENOUGH CHANCES TO SELECT AND IMMEDIATELY IMPROVE ONE OF THE MANY GLARING WEAKNESSES CALLED THE O-LINE of the LA RAMS!!! Seriously!! McSnead and company have no one holding them accountable for such bullshit. Demoff can't produce a decent logo in two years. The limp biscuit is busy getting dominated by his dominatrix wife and of course she is spanking him for not picking his next pair of panties from Victoria's Secret to notice and stop this kind of utter incompetence! Seriously!! They pick a TE that is small and should be trained as a fullback whiffing on the remaining good O-line talent left. I want bitch-slap both of the two stooges who comprise the juggernaut of dumbass known as McSnead!!!
And the TE they took is?
With Higbee, Everett and Mundt, he will play about as much as Henderson did this past season behind Gurley and Brown.
With the Rams lack of LB depth and the injuries they’ve had, Dye would’ve seen more action than the TE will.
I’m certainly not overly upset about. I’ll judge it on overall body of work and trust the process. The FO has been fine at getting UDFA and will find some ILBs not to mention we have some pretty good young ones now on the roster.
We did finish 9-7 on a tough schedule with Gurley not electrifying, Goff not very good at all and Cooks didn’t even play. We lost Littleton who was a UDFA not Ray Lewis
To be fair, save the Tackles, it was a new group of Starters, young and then injured, and then depth injured again. And why was the offense worse, SJ?
Because the OL was dog crap. Period. And they’ve done nothing to address and improve the OL. That is the problem.
Rams have the infamous 199th pick coming up.
Let’s see if they can pull a Brady-type player out of their rears.
Just that stat alone has me stoked we got this guy in the 6th round!!
