You know the fans will riot when Tomlin puts Pickens on a snap count though lol. He was adamant about doing that with Claypool his rookie year. He does it to every rookie not named Najee Harris.

ACL tear & character concerns pushed him out of the top 3 at his position. The class was so deep that nobody felt the need to take on the risk. Their loss though. We may have to deal with those character concerns at a later date though. Hope not but its the reality of this new era of football.

Valid point. But he was asked pretty directly a few times about Chase's limitations down the stretch his rookie year and Tomlin quoted the rookie wall many times. I think Claypool even talked about it in his interviews that year.

Yep. Cincygrad & I were talkin about it in the Around the AFCN thread. I just hope he can stay healthier than Green did.
