It is that time of the year and there are a huge number of players in this draft that fill our needs. This draft is rich in O-linemen, especially Guards and Tackles. We are all hoping the Rams finally get past their early round aversion toward O-linemen and we have another 2018 year where we took two lineman in that draft. Here is a list of 38 players the Rams could choose from with their first pick at 104 in the Third Round. Alot of great future players for the Rams on this list. I hope to see everyone on Saturday and Sunday next week.

Here are two behemoths that could, given enough imagination (but in reality both will not be Rams), would be immense if they were signed. Ndamukong Suh remains a FA as the Bucs want to get younger at the position, but he wants at least 9 mil per year. If we signed him, it would be a great fit because at 35, he still has plenty of game left in the tank.

Jordon Davis is a monster who is going to go in the First Round because at 6'4 and 341lbs, the dude has the speed that rivals AD. Imagine if you will if we had a First Rounder and got this guy and then signed Suh. The two playing with AD at Edge and Floyd at the other would be HUGE, literally!!

Another Cam Akers type back. Sort of smallish as usual. 5'11 190lbs is approaching DeSean Jackson size. Dude is going to be hurt like all the rest of our backs except Sony Michel.

I think the Rams may add a RB, but it will likely be day 3. Jashaun Corbin of FSU could be a late target, or Davis-Price from LSU. Borghi, Abram Smith, think they likely need a more physical back in the mix.

To get McDumbshits to get over their tendency to seek out these smallish backs may never happen. There are some bigger backs with speed and can catch passes out of the backfield in this draft. Not one of them are on their mocks or draft board. They also have one on their roster and are totally ignoring him. Sony Michel remains unsigned.

Yeah, they were lucky switching back to Akers from Michel didn’t cost them in the TB game.

If that game had gone to OT, chances are they lose and it would’ve been an epic collapse and a much different story.

I don't think you'll see anyone get signed until after the draft at this point. Trying to evade that deadline for signings that count against future compensatory picks, which I believe is 5/2?

Yep Shopson. That seems to be the prevailing reason no signings will occur until after 5/2 when the comp picks for 2023 are assigned.

And we pick late on Friday this year (first pick is 104, Third Round unless traded).

This is telling. If Rapp is going to be demoted and he will be, the Rams should trade him and gain more draft assets and possibly a big O-lineman like the Philadelphia trade that was mentioned last year during camp.

I agree. All four of these guys should be signed or extended after the draft as to not affect 2023 comp picks assignments.

I like Williams if the Rams take an Edge in the Third Round.

Luketa is interesting as a hybrid, almost more of a SAM than an EDGE. Trying to figure out where these guys slot in the first round is hard enough; starting with the late third is like the wild west lol. Every mock draft site has completely different results. Guys projected in the 3rd on one site are projected 7-RFA on another. I have a feeling trusting any of our mocks is going to leave us disappointed, or at least confused...

That have to hit home runs if they want to repeat because they have four potential FAs to sign and 28 opening rosters spots!!

I hope they trade Atwell, possibly Rapp, and maybe Henderson for more draft assets and maybe a player out there especially if we sign those 4 FAs already listed and we pick-up some excellent talent in a draft that is loaded with talent outside of Rounds 1 and 2.

I like this mock too. Two trades in the Third and Fourth Rounds and we end up with 11 picks this year and a couple in 2023!
