Grizzlies over the Spurs in 2011 and Warriors over Mavs in 2007 are just a couple of examples in the last few years that come to mind.

The pistons are 2-1 over the Cavs this year so far for a reason

'12: 76ers over Bulls, '99: Knicks over Heat, '94: Denver over Seattle

Do you think the reason the Cavs didn't win the 1st match up could have been the fact that the Injured One didn't play? You really gotta take that into consideration before ya say the Pistons are 2-1 against them for a reason.

I'm just pointing out a fact and that nothing is set. I've still got the Cavs in 5 but there are too many "what ifs"!

I realize you hate LeBron & the Cavs but you can't say the Pistons are 2-1 against them for a reason when in 1 of the games their 2nd best played didn't play.

Regardless, they still won two games. If lebron misses one or two games this series becomes a lot more even.

Do we really have to consider this since he's ALWAYS hurt? There's a pretty good chance no team will ever face a healthy Kyrie.

The league is gonna allow the Injured One to wear body armor for the playoffs. The rest of the NBA has officially been put on notice.

Pistons are pulling the upset in 6!

(Safe prediction as the sole Pistons fan: I either end up looking like a ingenious or it is simply dismissed as acceptable homerism)

Really, Cavs are likely to roll, I'm just hoping the Pistons look respectable.

I think they'll be competitive in most games. Maybe 1 Cavs blowout

Cavs in 6.

Yes, I have Detroit winning two. They will be motivated to prove something to their fans after scratching their seven-year itch.

And yes, I'm not yet convinced that Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love are Playoff performers yet.

Cavs in 6. I think Detroit will surprise them out of the gate with a game and win another at home. Cavs are a bit up and down at times, but Detroit, on paper, has a lot of players with a skill set that normally cause problems for the Cavs. They have a PG that will attack them, a big man to dominate/compete on the glass and can score in the paint. They have a lot of three point shooting from the 2-4 spots. And a sneaky good defense.

Of course on paper doesn't mean a lot if they can't put together a good game plan. From a coaching standpoint though the edge is strongly with the Pistons. Cavs are just too talented though.
