Cam Fowler and 2027 4th round pick to Blues for defensive prospect Jeremie Biakabutuka and 2027 2nd round pick, Anaheim retains $2.5 million making Fowler a Blue through the end of his 8 year deal at $4 million in 2026.

Verbeek not hesitant at all moving out veterans to give better, cheaper, younger defenders their spots in the lineup. Also cold as shit, Fowler was 9 games away from 1000 as a member of the Ducks (991). Damn.

He's certainly not the player he was 10 years ago but was a huge part of the Ducks, it'll be kind of strange not seeing him in Anaheim. This also may signal for the Blues that Nick Leddy may not be coming back this season as was originally anticipated.

Other news, Zegras out 6 weeks afyer knee surgery. Man has that dude's stock tumbled, wasn't he on the cover of one of the NHL video games not long ago?

Saw some mention that Corey Perry was also like two games shy of 1000 when he moved on from the Ducks.
