Fiala EN....just a fighter

He battled three Rangers to get that goal and drew a penalty doing so, wasn't one of those gimme EN goals. He earned that one.

I was so expecting Buster to be first star for breathing or something, it's gotten comical at this point. Yeah Dunno got the PP goal when Jill put the shut down line out there at the end of a PP but player of the game to me was Jeannot, easily his best game as a King.

Hope he isn't injured and is back Thursday against the Avs.

That's exactly why I thought it was going to be Buster. He drew three penalties, better hand him a star. Nevermind he was a non factor most of the game. Guess PLD should have gotten tons of first stars for leading the team in drawn penalties last season but that didn't happen.

But how can Fiala be #3, seriously? He absolutely owned this game and was a presence all over. I don't even think Dunno should have got it because apart from that goal he was invisible but I don't remember him getting a first star this season.

I don't know who votes on Stars of the Game but with the way certain guys have gotten it this season it's a popularity contest and not based on game results. It's not objective at all.

It'll be LA and Edmonton again, all the Kings can hope for is McJesus and Draisaitl aren't at 100% during the series. Kings may have home ice this time but that's still up in the air being 2 points up only and this was the game in hand.

It's show time, what happens in a month is what will define this era of the franchise.
