They just reached a agreement with Lynch. So who is next? Wilson or Wagner?

Not in the complete know of the Seahawks but my guess would be Wagner. It is the lower cap number of the two making it a little easier to figure out the numbers. I mean when you look at the top players at his position the top-10 are pretty well bunched together contract wise so you know the starting point a lot easier compared to that of quarterback. Throw in it sounds like the Seahawks are planning on getting creative with Wilson's contract compared to any other contract in the NFL at this time. That usually takes time to accomplish.

Wagner will probably be next.

Wilson's is going to take some time and negotiations.

Maybe something is agreed upon behind the scenes, but let's wait till a contract is signed before calling this a done deal. His agent is stating nothing is official yet.

I would be absolutely SHOCKED if the Hawks signed Suh. No way they can fit him into the cap.

Is there a link to the contract, cause I'm still seeing Lynch's agent denying the deal is in place?

It's not official yet, so I jumped the gun a bit. However I do think it will get signed.

I think a deal is imminent. They are just dotting the I's and crossing the T's at this point.

I hope this isn't a reward contract. Those usually don't work out well, especially for older RBs.

I thought Lynch was 28. Even for a RB that's not really old.

He'll be 29 in 2 months. And tons of mileage on him.
looked like there was plenty of tread left on those wheels of his last year. We will have to see the details and he still has to sign the offer, but I like what I've heard so far.

But most workhorse RBs don't really have a steady decline. They usually just drop off a cliff without much warning. Usually by the age of 30.

One never knows on how things work out, but I like the idea of having Lynch play next year and the year after.
