A. Brooks played a very good game last night imo... He definitely looks like he will be one of our few bright spots moving forward on defense in terms of young talent...
He has been very poor in coverage (much worse than someone that people here complain about quite a bit) for most of the year. The TEs and RBs have often made him look foolish.
Hopefully this game is a step forward for him, but after a very good rookie year, this year has generally been a disappointment until yesterday.
Brooks was the reason we let KJ walk (not Brooks' fault). He needs to fill those big shoes.

you mean J Brooks?

I agree. I see 3 bright spots, granted one with little PT, on Denfense.

Brooks, Taylor( I so hope comes back at 100% and comes back the same as he left) and Brown

Yes, I meant Jordyn Brooks... LOL... Thank you for catching that... I must have had Aaron Brooks in my head when I was typing that... Blast from the past...

... you mean Defense? LOL.... J/K... :)

Yeah Brooks has looked pretty bad at time, even in this last game he had some spots that were ugly but you can see the ability there. Lets hope he puts it all together and isn't going to be one of these guys that only shows up 3 or 4 games a season with a "decent" game.

I guess I don't understand your comments... If J. Adams and J. Brooks didn't play well, who played amazing to make up the gap to help hold their offense to 13 points?

I think the point is actually that Brooks played well this last game, but hasn't been good for the majority of the season. His coverage was giving up 125+ passer rating until Monday night. Hopefully this last game marks a turning point for him.

WOW...

I knew what you meant about his ceiling but where did you say that he played well in the last game when I responded to you? If so, it was vague...
