Hell of a defensive effort tonight. More than enough to win the game. Good job D, you were left on an island and you performed admirably.

They actually played fairly good last week, too... Just poor QB play stood in the way of a W...

As I said. Just needed Tarvaris Jackson level of performance. He looked like Whitehurst against the Browns out there tonight. Indecisive, misreads, unable to interpret the defensive rush, completely uncomfortable. Dude just can't play quarterback. I'd rather see a rookie make those mistakes, not a nearly 10 year veteran.

DK doesn't break that tackle (or push Lattimore down?), Smith is what 12/22 132 0/0?

Yeah he can’t mentally handle it … He was a deer in the headlights …

Wait.........

I thought Adams was a bum and wasn't worth any money

Tell me it ain't true @Screamin12th

He had his best game of the season and you are going to thump your chest? Typical lmao.

After watching the replay of that long pass break up it turned out it was a drop ball was not even in the WR hands any more when Adams hit him. Adams played a good game though like I said MANY times he has talent he just is not playing to that level not even close.

Defense played a hell of a game, thats a game with out a doubt we win with Russell. Saw some improved play last week from the D and it continued to this week. Lets keep turning this thing around. Still the offense is stuck in this funk that started LAST YEAR. Wilson helps but i think we only score 17 maybe 20 with Wilson. ( not counting those missed FG's )

Sad thing is that New Orleans played bad tonight too. They were very beatable, but Geno is god dam trash. Complete and utter garbage. He doesn't have a head for football. He's so concerned with throwing the homerun ball that he refuses to see the check down guys (who were open some tonight), and then he stands there looking confused until the defense smothers him. Time after time. So frustrating. Then add to that, he apparently has zero concept of a running play clock and cost us 3 timeouts pretending like he was reading the defense or some shit that we know he can't do anyway. And, finally, taking ridiculous sacks at absolute key moments when a guy of his experience should never allow that to happen. Throw the dam ball away but don't lose 15 yards and make your kicker boot a 53 yarder when he could have been kicking a 40 yarder. Jeezus tap dancing Christ. I could even get over the bonehead plays that got our defense flagged if Smith would have looked even remotely like an NFL QB tonight. Russ can't return soon enough. Rant over.

Is it possible for the league to step in and say "Sorry, but we're revoking the rest of your prime time privileges" until they sort things out? After three straight embarrassments on national TV, that would be something to see.

Next week is the Tank Bowl with the Jaguars. If we chunk that one, time for some throwing under the bus!

Shit, I thought we had the bye next week. Dam. I was hoping I'd seen the end of Geno Smith. Forever. Like he should leave town and never come back. Not even for coffee or fresh fish.

Yeah I thought Geno would be better than this, he really had a chance here to do something and maybe get a shot someplace else. Looks like he is to content to being a back-up. So content that he may lose that Job, or should lose that job in my eyes. Teams offense is playing like it's Preseason not week 7!

Hope the Defense continues to play like this the rest of the way, that was a performance to be proud of in a win, but alas it wasn't a win so knocks every bit of glimmer off of it.

Yeah Meyers and the Weather cost us.

About Adams. I've been saying this constantly...........

WHY NOT MOVE HIM TO OLB?

He's much MUCH Better when he is Raising Hell NEAR THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE. He's a Great OLB playing S IMO
