I think the hurry was more to try and get to the line and snap before a challenge could happen, because the catch was questionable
boy does the offense look more complete, able to start off strong, score in the redzone, and convert 3rd downs.
almost like firing bevell made all the difference
Do you still talk to Uncle Bevell? Must have a lot of time on his hands being unemployed and all. Guess every NFL team didnt see what you saw.Weren't they something like 3 for 5 today? That was pretty much Bevell's average that you were complaining about so often.

Playing a pretty terrible Raiders team didn't hurt either.

Really solid overall showing. First possession TD, which hasn't happen in like 30+ games. Oakland was never really in it. We beat them up in the trenches on both sides; their OL was in shambles to the point Gruden wouldn't run any play by the 2nd half that had Carr looking down field because they couldn't block that long.Only saw bits and pieces of the game on redzone and it looked like a solid victory. I'm sure there were some mistakes but those can get pushed to the side this week. A full complete game is what was needed and hopefully this gets the team going and get a winning streak started.

I still feel this team has not found it's self or it's identity to be honest. They are close but i just feel when all is said and done they will be light years better than they are now.
Nice to see the Hawks Defense back in the top 5 in Scoring. Sure playing the Raiders helped a lot but i believe we have not even came close to seeing how good this defense will be. I am ecited to see them play with KJ out there and more time for the young guys because we got a LOT of them.
The team is still really young with new coordinators. I honestly think this team will be much better in the 2nd half than they were in the 1st half of the season. Which isn't a bold claim given how this team generally is.
I still think 10-6 is a very achievable record.
10-6 is a little to rich for me on this team. But if any coach can turn a bunch of YOUNG kids into winners we know it's Pete Carroll. Next offseason we Need DE and WR help and we need to hit on them. I think the Oline for the most part is set for the next 5+ years ( Not counting Brown we might need a LT in a couple seasons )
i don't think this team is going to go 7-3 in the final 10 no. They might make it to 9 wins but i think the youth will bite them a couple more times and Seabass will cost them another game. Speaking of Seabass, i have to admit going into every kick thinking they are going to miss makes me so much more happy when they do hit it. I think i will go that route from here on out on ANY kicker the hawks have. Expect a miss and feel the joy when they make it.
