Game Thread: Seattle Seahawks @ San Diego Charger

Chargers played a hell of a game today, lets tip our caps to them. Seahawks will get them next time.

I don't think fluke is the right word either. San Diego is a solid football team with a decent defense and a top 10 offense.

Nothing was fluky about it. They just played better than Seattle on September 14th.

Yep the champs in NHL, NBA, and NFL always get their opponent best shot in every game.

Teams want to brag about beating the defending champs so teams are going to be so pumped up weekly to play Seattle.

Guys, again this was the worst performance by that defense we have seen in ages and they still only lost by one drive and it was on the road in the worst heat they have played in in years.

Everything I feared would happen, did happen. Seattle's D adjusted too late to what the Chargers were trying to do. The offense became too one dimensional, especially needing to go 95 yards in two minutes left. Play calling on both sides of the ball left me scratching my head. San Diego had the better game plan, hats off to them.

Man you sound like a hater. The Chargers were bad with Norv but this is a new coach. Rivers played in bigger games than week 2 against the champs. He played in a conference title game. You sound salty.

BTW the Chargers next 5 games are the Bills, Jags, Jets, Raiders, and Chiefs. There is a great chance they win at least 4 of those games. They have a great chance to be 5-2 heading into week 8

Yep, you are right. Wilson singlehandedly failed to block to give himself any time. Failed to get open on routes, and failed to spring a big play.

Stop. Just stop. We don't do trolls well on this board. Save the Wilson lost the game garbage for the general board. If you want to reduce yourself to that point feel free to go there and stay there.

If they come in feeling confident after last year's Super Bowl, then they deserve to lose. They know what the Seahawks can do, even if they don't look perfect the week before.

Offense: B- (Can't fault them too much when they didn't get that much time on the field.
Defense: D (It was going to be an F but they stood their ground in the 4th quarter)
ST: F (Your main job is to NOT turn over the ball.)
