Lock goes off timing Geno doesn't. Lock doesn't lock onto one player. All this should help a little. That 3rd down pass to Lockett wouldn't have been thrown by Geno, he would have went with a jump ball to a double covered DK.

I disagree with him not locking in on one player... It's why he forces a lot of balls that lead to picks... It's been the knock on him since he's been in the NFL...

Cause you have the 2nd best TE in the NFL and one of the best receiving backs in the league, and then Samuel who is a jack of all trades but a GOOD jack of all trades. Easier said than done. And then you leave 1/1 coverage on the outside and they have Aiyuk...

Good decisions by Lock there. Better to punt than to give it away. If there's been a knock on him from his Denver days it's the bad forced ball throws and turnovers in general.

Yah, we'll need him for sure. Adams and him are keeping Kittle out of the game. What's frustrating on that hit is Witherspoon already stopped it. Adams laid the lumber which is good because it gets Kittle thinking a bit more, but in the process he may have forced Devon out of the game.
