Most of the penalties we are seeing are a by-product of the aggressive play that Pete Carroll wants. It was the same at USC. Unfortunately, that means there will be some stupid one's mixed in as well.

You can play aggressive without penalties. I love Carroll for what he has done for us but he has his faults. The penalties are one of them.

Oh, I agree. That was one of the very few complaints that I had about him at USC. However, he'd rather have the penalties than lose the aggression.
