I think they should have kept the two different facemask penalties.

It should not be 15 yards unless you grab and twist it IMO. Robinson barely even touched the guy's face mask and it was only for a moment.

I hadn't realized they got rid of the 5 yard face mask. This is getting ridiculous.

Well that depends on if the Seahawks can stop creating so many stupid penalties because outside of those they are outplaying SF on both sides of the ball.

Yeah they did a few years ago. Now every face mask is 15 yards. I think the two different ones makes more sense.

Yeah, I thought there used to be facemasking, which was 5 yards and Grasping the Facemask, which was a 15 yard personal foul penalty.

3rd and 22 you need to take a shot down field. With the way the refs are calling the game right now, you have to take that chance. Even if they don't make call a game like this, you still need to take a shot down field on 3rd and long.

Defenders have to go low. I'm seeing more ball carriers hurdle defenders as well. A torn up knee is better than brain damage I guess.
