Another dismal outing. But at least the unis looked good.

As the norm more dumb mistakes and questionable play calling.

Mac needs to learn how to just get rid of the ball.

Fuck it, bring in Zappe let's see what he can do. I'm not sure why people worry about the QB losing confidence? Hell if his mind and ego are that easily bruised, do you really want him QBing your team?

I'm right there with you.

But I wonder...I read somewhere not long ago that Bezos was looking to purchase the Washington WTF's. (No Cheerupchuck, I'm not fetching a link somewhere)

Maybe a conflict of interest thing?
I read the same thing

The QB is not that issue. Once again shitty O line play, dumb penalties, RZ play calling and efficiency. This team has no identity. I really feel BB did the team a disservice putting Matty P anywhere on this team.

its only getting worse bye bye bourne course he is right:suds:

Kendrick Bourne called out the Patriots' play-calling and offensive design following their Week 13 loss to the Bills.

This is not recommended behavior in Bill Belichick's locker room, but Bourne said what many Pats seemed to be thinking after an awful home loss. “Yeah, man, we need to scheme up better," was Bourne's response to the question of whether the Pats need to play differently on third down. "We need to know what they’re doing. We need to know what they wanna do on third down. … They call this, and we call that, and it falls right into what they want." He then got much more specific. "No Von Miller, we gotta take advantage of that. No Micah Hyde ... they're more soft in what they're doing, so they're more conservative. We've gotta take advantage and not just have five-yard throws. We need to be able be able to attack and put pressure on the defense." Bourne's comments come the same night Mac Jones was caught screaming that the team needed to be throwing down-field more. Bourne seems all too aware of the differences of playing in a Kyle Shanahan-called offense vs. Matt Patricia.

Apple won Sunday Ticket for three years starting in 2023. Got Apple TV?
Typical BK bullshit, Recalling something incorrectly and posting it as absolute fact. There has been no decision on who will get the rights for the Sunday Ticket.

Zappe at least consistently moved the team. Same shitty play calling and same shitty o-line. I'm not bashing Mac but if they lose to AZ next week the season is done. May as well see what they have in Zappe. Showcase him for possible trade bait. Or potentially trade Mac. Or keep both, at least you can focus on strengthing the line in the offseason/draft. I'm not sold Mac is the answer. Luckily he's got a couple years of rookie scale pay. He seems to be making bigger mistakes this year than his rookie year. I'm getting tired of seeing him run for a first down to only slide 1 to 2 yards shy. Get a set of balls man. Shit even TB would get the 1st on most of them. I'm starting to think the kid is fragile both mentally and physically.

Yes it appears BB has once again out thought himself.

Is he tradeable? Not smart on his part. He's already seen declined action.

Mac is moving the ball, we get in the RZ and fail. At this point with the season over I won't argue giving Zappa a shot I still feel QB is not the issue

There is plenty of blame to go around.
QB poor decision making. Continually throws and runs short of the sticks.
WR/TEs not getting separation or making dumb mistakes.
Oline just plain sucks in all catagories.
Lack of a real OC.
On and on and on. Hard to tell if Mac is a problem or not. If he's only decent between the 20s we need a new QB. Got to score points to win. Why don't they ever QB sneak him? Puzzling, Brady and Andrews were masters at it. Nope hand it off and watch it get blown up in the backfield when all they needed was a yard or less.

The O-line is just terrible. They can't pass block at all. Mac has to hurry every throw. Defenders are constantly beating them. If they aren't it's because they are being held. I know there aren't any WR's worth much in the coming off season in free agency. Are there any good O-linemen? It wouldn't bother me one bit to use all 10 draft picks on O-line and WR's and hope they pan out.

Anytime they showed Patricia it made me angry. But the fault goes to Belichick for even putting him there in the first place. This disaster of an offense is on Belichick and his decisions on personal.

BB is doing himself a disservice, and he's doing Matty Fatricia a disservice as well.

I believe we need to accept the fact that this is not a good team, and is completely outmatched by the Bills. How the tide turns…

So many baffling play calls, and poor discipline, squandering all opportunities to put points on the board, dumb mistakes at crucial points in games, so many things are wrong.

Some of the problems are player execution and haphazard O-line, but the bigger problem seems to be all around inconsistent or even bad coaching.

Also, worried about Mac’s development and lack of ability to see and connect with open receivers. For example, on the play that was almost a safety, Henry was open and Mac did not even look in that direction.

Not sure what anyone expects him to do. There is pressure on him at 2 to 2.5 seconds, plays are just developing at that point.
Yep. But even when he did have the time and an open or even semi-open WR his accuracy was still off. When those limited opportunities did appear you need to take advantage of them...
