Yeah so far he is nothing put a practice squad player. Hopefully Maye can work with him more and he turns it around
I think while at Washington he was able to shine because all the attention was on Odunze, often the #2 WR can shine when the #1 is such a real threat. It's quite possible that's what we are seeing with Polk. This being said I feel he has not reached his ceiling; he has room to learn and grow if he is willing to put in the work. That's why the rest of this season and epically the offseason will be critical to his development.

I certainly hope he can put in the work and is willing to do it. Otherwise he had better be shown the door

He needs a sports psychologist. He was awesome at catching contested balls at UW. Now he can't catch a cold. I hope he's mature enough to seek the help he needs.

How many sports psychologists were available on 1975, '85, '95 ???

Coach could walk up to kid and say, "Look asshole, I drafted you in the 2nd round because you played like hell in college. Get your shit together or the only football you'll be playing is with nine of your fantasy friends."

Be a coach and tell him that his play isn't worth snot in a tissue and ask him if he knows what his problem is. He doesn't need a headshrinker, he needs to self examine himself and correct whatever his problem is or see if he can find another job that will pay him a million a year to screw up.

That would make me feel a little better.

Also, today between 4:30 am and 5 am someone was spotted trying to get into our cars at our apartment complex. This is like the 4th time in a month and a half so I am very pissed about that as well.
I was temporarily living in an apartment a few years back and the same was happening to me.
I have a lot of experience with traps and booby-traps.
It was all I could do to not set up a snare so I could laugh at the guy stuck under my car.
In the 80's i lived in an apt. and my gate lined up perfectly with my door, which lined up perfectly with my kitchen.....
I looked at my truck door and there was a kids ass hanging in the window, trying to get the change from my truck.
He was busy picking up change one at a time while I selected a good board and put a serious bruise to his ass!
When he jumped, he hit his head on the door frame.

Visuallize this scenario and maybe it will bring a smile to your face?

The state of Florida has been in a chill for the past couple of days.

When I got up this morning, it was 41 degrees. It's about 54 as I type in Miami. The game should be played in perfect weather around 70 in the bright sun. Strangely, not a single television channel is covering the game down here. Looks like it'll be a YouTube day.

Decided to break out my Patriots game day jersey and watch the last three Super Bowls. I don't care if it knocks their draft pick to #20, I would love to see a victory over the Dolphins today.

I'm actually cheering for the Pats today as well. Miami has a long path to get to the playoffs, but there odds are not quite done yet. Losing this game all but guarantees they will miss the playoffs. Go Pats!

Patriots installed several RPOs for Maye this week. The reason is that he's running on his own and Mayo doesn't want him playing a guessing game with division opponents. They have this one today and two with the Bills in the final three weeks of the season.

Media was not allowed to observe the practice sessions this past week so no one knows exactly what AVP has put in the kettle for Maye's Menu today. I'm nervous, but excited to have a mobile QB with some plays just for him.

It's a night and day difference for Miami when Tua is playing. I like them by 6 to 10 points today. I'm not a big McDaniel fan, so a few of his bad decisions on key downs will keep Pats within striking distance for most of the game.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Patriots CB Christian Gonzalez (hip) is likely to play in Week 12 against the Dolphins.
The same is true of defensive lineman Christian Barmore, who was listed as questionable after missing two practices for non-injury reasons this week. Barmore was added tot he injury report with a hip issue on Friday, causing some concern for his Week 12 availability. The Pats remain significant underdogs to the Dolphins this week, but getting the young duo of Barmore and Gonzalez on the field is a small boost to a defensive unit that has struggled this year.

It would also help "shake things up" in Miami for next year!

I imagine. My wife and I just got the word her mothers cancer is back and at her age they don't plan to do chemo. We were not given a time frame but I suspect the worse is yet to come. Hang in there.
Very sorry to hear that.

Fuck Cancer.

I hope she lives surprisingly long and as comfortable with the end unimaginably free of suffering.

The O-Line is doing everything that they possibly can do to screw this game.

Two false starts by Lowe and two false starts by Jacobs and a holding on Jordan. They have killed two drives.

Of course Jonnu Smith scores a TD against the Patriots.

7-0 Fins.

Jacobs gives up a sack on 3rd and 16.

It just doesn't get any better.

I swear that I could find five guys my age and play equally as bad as this offensive line.

And another hold negates long run by Stevenson. This team’s discipline is disgusting.

I didn't expect a win. I do expect the O-Line to be able to play without multiple false starts and holding calls on runs. There are free agent OTs and OGs that are being signed by other teams. We've listed them multiple times. The Patriots appear to have a serious problem at GM.

The problem is going to be an exhausted defense that isn't anywhere near as fast as the Dolphin offense.
