Lucky to hold for 3 there.

D is gassed.

It's like the Jets have Vaseline on their unis. I don't ever recall seeing so many broken/missed tackles.

Thoughts after seeing Maye in there? Glad he survived. Even with his scrambling ability he got hit and sacked too often. Again this goes back to the oline woes. Had some jitters as expected. Missed badly on a few throws. Had 5 seconds plus on one play and couldn't find a receiver. All in all a B performance for the short amount of time he saw.

Well after that shit show the 2025 #1 draft pick could be back in play.

I think this team can compete next year with the current young talent. Maybe not a SB but competitive enough for a WC or playoff spot. Fix the Oline and get the team healthy (Barrmore, Bentley)...

No solid #1 Olinemen projected in the draft. Trade down if they end up with a top 5 pick. Oline, WR and DE.

Always a fan but this season is going to be tough to watch.

I went to bed at half time.

What do you expect from Wolfe? The guy had $40M and couldn't find a couple of experience NFL caliber linemen? Jeezuzz, I posted available OL three or four times and yet he stuck with Lowe, Sow, etc. The man is still interviewing for the GM title and holding more than $35M. I'll post the available OL again. Please explain if you believe what the Patriots now have is better than what's available.

Now that is the Patriots team I was expecting in week one. A team that relies on it's defense to carry the team. I watched the first half of this debacle what a mess. This O line is beyond swiss cheese they are more a turnstile of horror. People will be screaming for Maye but why kill the rookie? On the positive side I do feel they can only get better,

I'm not arguing there may be better players on this list. But then I question why are they still FAs? I give every FO the benefit of the doubt that their evaluations for whatever reason are better than my novice wants.

I hope the FO, RK, JK and Mayo went into the season knowing they were in a rebuild. Rebuilds take time. Save a couple bucks this year to be major players in FA next year along with a high draft position.

Seems the Pats have had the most cap space the past few years...And nothing gets spent.
They've tried to spend on players they targeted but those players opted to sign elsewhere. NE is no longer the place to go make a name for yourself nor resurrect a career. Add the tax situation, new coach, no oline and unproven QB. Would you go?

A couple of receivers that went elsewhere (Psst...states with no income tax...Shhh...) for the same money.

They have been signing dregs at Oline though...

And we have been drafting O Line but not a LT that has to be priority 1 not WR, Edge CB etc LT
2024 - 3rd Rd OT, 4th Rd G
2023 - 4th Rd C & G, 5th Rd G
2022 - 1st Rd G, 6th & 7th Rds...G and G
2021 - 6th Rd OT
2020 - 6th Rd G & OT

Waiting until the 3rd round is not investing much capitol on the Oline.
