We can't handle QB's that can run. Allen can run. This one gets ugly early.

Buffalo 38
Patriots 16
I'm not sure about that score but that logic is solid until proven otherwise. It seems the game plan for the running QBs is to let them do whatever they want until they tire themselves out but for some reason the game keeps ending early.

I wish you were wrong but I think you are correct. I can see us giving up 3rd and longs to Allen's legs all night. Great on 1st and 2nd down and then give up the 3rd and long.

I'd love to be wrong.
A lot will depend on Judon. He can't just pin his ears back. He must maintain containment. With no sacks last week, I'm not sure if he'll be disciplined enough.

Already cringing, just thinking of how many 1st downs Josh gets with his legs. Will be a difficult game to watch I'm thinking.

I'm thinking that BB and Mayo know that Josh is excellent at slipping away outside and not up the middle. If Wise and Judon can keep from getting pushed toward the middle, then they can hold the outside a bit. Once they start to change direction toward the outside the OL will most likely grab a shirt or try to wrap an arm and restrict the move and pick up a holding call.

Patriots also have to blitz a fifth rusher at least 50%of the time on a loop inside and force Allen to throw early or at least take a solid hit. Just make sure he stops his fall with his right arm and absorb the shock with his right elbow.

That's a lot of wishful thinking I'm afraid.

Would have been nice to get Barmore back...

Looks like it's going to be windy and chilly

Another ground and pound game?

Worked well the last time these two played........ With that said, I still think Allen runs all over the Pats tonight

There is this little nugget that either works for the Patriots or adds extra fire to the Bills to win

Fuck Buffalo.

If they make it to the playoffs and New England does not I will root for them though...

I think Allen could run but isn't he still recovering from an injury? Not that it matters all that much he is a gamer but for some reason I thought he had a foot injury? I also suspect BB will have a different game plan for Allen, he has to be tired of getting burned by this guy

Yeah he is still dealing with that elbow issue but hasn't stopped him. Not sure about the foot though. Sure BB has a game plan but can it be executed?

Maybe I was just hoping it was a foot. I pretty much don't keep up with that stuff. You play who can play and hope for the best. If one player is the demise of the team it's fair to question how good a team it really is.

Allen has been practicing but according to NFL.com he's been sort of limiting the number of throws. My guess is that he's had some injections for that elbow and they've been trying to keep the inflammation minimized. If Judon and Wise can keep him partially contained it will give Bennett or Wilson and Uche a chance to clog the middle and make him throw. Maybe a bit early or just a bit off target. Last thing that the Bills want, is to get in a ground and pound game.

Weather forecast is for overcast skies. Temp for game time is 25 degrees, 60% humidity, winds 10-15 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

Perfect weather for December football.

It's actually warmer in Buffalo, but the wind is blowing harder off the lake.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Jakobi Meyers (shoulder) is expected to play in Week 13 against the Bills.

Meyers made it through three limited practices this week and is officially questionable, but it's not a surprise that he's active as he told reporters he didn't think the injury was serious after last Thursday's game. He'll be a PPR WR3 in a tough matchup against the Bills pass defense.
