Your Hawks make a lotta sense for Watt, and a type of move they have been known for

On Watt, he is an old 31 in football years, due to his injury issues. He might be a good pickup for a contending team but not at his current cap number.
I would love to see him in a Seahawks uniform but only at a lower price. 15+ mil for a guy who has only played 2 full seasons out of the last 5 and gives you just okay production is a bit much. Even for just one year. As I said earlier, his 31 has 10 years of wear and tear in the league and is closer to 35-36 in physical years.

As for Deshaun, it appears the Texans have said "you can ask all you want but it ain't happening" from supposed reports.

Big news being talked about all over the internet today. It seems Deshaun Watson has talked to team mates about potentially asking the Houston Texans brass to trade him. If so and if the new GM is willing, he will immediately become the hottest item in the league and a number of teams would sell the farm to get him, imo.
Deshaun Watson trade rumors: Texans QB could request trade after Nick Caserio hire
Trade him to Jacksonville for a roll of toilet paper....What has this bum done to make him think he can dictate to the team who to hire as GM and HC ???.....These guys are loons....

Biggest problem with Deshaun is the DE. Like WTF? Why not just Shaun Watson? Now I get it's like a cultural thing for black people (yah fuck it, let's just go full racial) to put DE in front of everything... like Dealex, Demark, Desnapintoslimjim, DEtroit, but at SOME point, it's gotta stop. I mean are we going to start doing this with girls soon? I mean they have the whole Lakatie, Lafifa, Lataylor thing, maybe it becomes a merge sort of thing? Delashaun? I mean that's something.

Now I really have no idea wtf I'm talking about, but it's clear that Houston needs to take action. Get DUHSHAUN to change his name to Deshark and then I'll support the trade.

Alright everyone have a safe weekend.

Yep but they missed their chance and now would have to trim down considerably to get enough cap space. They are right up against the cap, I think.
Yeah, that's why that fool is a no name radio broadcaster and not a GM of a pro team.....Idiots !!
Someone remind me how many championships this guy has won so far ???????.....ZeeeeeeeeeeeeRoooooooo

Um....

The team told him we would be part of the process and then they made decisions without consulting him at all.

Don’t make promises you don’t intend to keep. Anyone would be upset in that situation.

Exactly. After signing such a huge contract extension he should not now be crying for a trade.
What is a contract but a promise given with built in consequences

Even if the Texans said they would ask for input, GM’s of other franchises should be hesitant trading for a guy who if he gets his way might get the mindset of Eric Dickerson.

Asking for a trade is not failing to honor a contract.

The team still has the ability to either trade him or not. If they decide not to trade him, Watson is still honoring his promise as long as he shows up and plays.

If he holds out?

Then he isn’t honoring his contract.

He's playing with you all. They'd want Trubs, 2 1sts, 2 2nds and maybe a couple 4ths

You seem more vested in this than I do.

I'm just relaying what's out there. I never suggested it was gospel.

"Signed to a four-year, $156 million contract that included $110 million guaranteed and an average annual salary of $39 million, Watson's contract includes a no-trade clause, per sources informed of his deal. The team isn't allowed to trade Watson without his written consent, according to the language in his contract."
