Bruins got Zanon from Wild.
Vancouver has another deal coming...
+1
So you're saying we should fire everyone and attack Iran?
I'm much more bummed about losing Sgarbossa than Jamie McGinn. The fact of the matter is, this trade changes absolutely NOTHING, more needed to be done. Doug Wilson also needed to take out the garbage i.e. Colin White and Torrey Mitchell and he didn't...
Hah... I don't know which prospects have actually come back to bite him in the ass but it's a good question.
I'll try to do some research later. I know there have been a couple.
This is the most disappointing season/deadline that the sharks have had in doug wilson's tenure. perhaps that is a testament to the man, but I have been so disappointed...
Winnik and galiardi add another two torrey mitchells to go along with the stupid acquisition of moore. Mcginn is far better than any of those 3 and with a much higher ceiling. The sharks now have 4 torrey mitchells and lost one of thier top prospects and the #2 scorer in the entire OHL. They are continuing to gut their system while adding 3rd and 4th liners. it makes no sense to me whatsoever.
i'm officially mad, and assuming the sharks do as I expect (1st round exit if they even make the PO's), then I would call for dougie's head. he has been SO lucky to have such great late round drafting, and has squandered it time and again backing perrenial losers and players with questionable heart as his leadership (sans boyle). This trade simply takes the team another step in the wrong direction. In a year or two, when jumbo and patty are 35 and boyle qualifies for social security, the sharks are going to be left with cooch as the only legit top 6 forward and burns/vlasic as the only legit top 4 dmen. Oh well, it was a great run and at least we got 2 final fours out of it...
ooooh Shit!
Shark Still to Make a Splash? Checking into a Rumor the Sharks are in the process of 'making a big trade' Eklund
ALERT THE MEDIA!
They say Doug was working hard to get some deals done, but just like his players it just wasnt enough to get it done.
i guess this season rests on Havlat's hammy.
Cmon, are we wrong to think that Sgarbossa was going to be a stud and he should have been held on to?
No, but you'd be wrong to assume it.
Wait, you were asking Cmon and not saying "Come on..." Sorry.

Haha.. yeah, sorry, just asking for Cmon's expert opinion there.
The more I think about this trade, the more it looks "meh". Seems like maybe too much "potential" to give up for two rentals... even completely leaving McGinn out of the equation...
