I like the acquisition of Winnik and Galiardi. If you were told that this would happen in November, you'd be happy too. We all said they needed 3rd line help to improve on McGinn and Mitchell. This is it. It just so happens that from November till now, more problems have been uncovered. Problems probably too expensive/late to fix now.

so far the BEST NEWS of the day is that Nabby didnt go to DET or CHI. Det and Chi didn't get additions to make them stronger since they had alot of money to spend. Yeah I know Oduya is going to Chi, but no biggie.

Nashville and Vancouver seemed like the winners today.

Not trying to start something, genuinely curious. Any of the prospects/youngsters/picks they've traded away over the years turned into anything? Carle (does he qualify)? Maybe I'm blanking...or maybe you're overstating.

I'm not a fan of losing Sgarbosa. I think it could come back to hurt as well. That said, what prospect has Dougie traded that has really bit him in the ass? Coyle, Sgarbosa and Connelly have a chance, but what other one has in the past
