the Wire is unbelievable...

The last few episodes of season three, running into season 4-i think are probably the best TV ever made....

the Wire is just a powerful, important, and very entertaining show. Its a must watch in my book not only for its entertainment value but its social commentary that you cant help but pick up and feel just totally dissatisfied with our institutions- whether it be the police force, schools, government, etc. Its a landmark show.

A few of those Wire guys have ended up on The Walking Dead.

He supposedly has Targaryen blood right? Dragon blood. He's alive!

SPOILER ALERT!!!

the theory is this: you know- in season 1 big fat King Robert was on the throne right?- he was Neds buddy....during the war that put Robert on the throne- Rhaegar- the Mad Kings son and heir, kidnapped Neds sister who was supposed to marry Robert.

that starts the war....Robert kills Rhaegar at the main battle- the Trident...however...before hand..its speculated that Neds Sister- Lyana, was not kidnapped but ran away with Rhaegar.

After wars end, ned goes to look for his sister...and the book and show give us very little details on this...they just say that he found her in a "bed of blood".

The theory is that Neds sister was dying from giving birth to Jon- and that Jon's parents are Rhaegar Targareyn (Fire) and Lyana Stark (Ice)....ned lied and said it was his son- because if King Robert knew it had Targareyen blood- he would have had the child killed.

Thus- instead of being Neds bastard- Jon Snow is the son of Lyana and Rhaegar and the rightful heir to the Iron throne...he just doesnt know it-

Carcetti in the wire is littlefinger in game of thrones.....the priest in walking dead was a cop in the Wire....yah a few of them have gone on to do good things.

Here is the only thing that concerns me...But could be a red herring....

His Dad , Joer, gave Jon the sword that can kill the white walkers.

If I'm not mistaken, he originally gave it to Jorah...But, Jorah returned it after being disgraced.

What's the saying about Azor?

Jorah has there when Dany walked into the funeral pyre with the Dragon eggs....she woke Dragons out of fossilized stone.

So, either of them could technically be part of the prophesy.

Also, Jorah was touched and he is slowly dying...his skin resembles stone...could he be the awakened Dragon?

But, that all goes to hell in a breadbasket because of this:

Jon Snow is dead.

During the resurrection, Jon will rise as Azor.
