Not sure how much Heat you watch, but would you rather have
Drummond or Whiteside as your C, long term?

Hard to say. Both are young and seem to have plenty of upside, but both have their warts. I think Drummond's offensive game is a little more advanced, but Whiteside is a better free throw shooter. Rebounds and scoring are essentially a wash, but Whiteside is a better shot blocker. Drummond is 4 years younger.

With Whiteside, until he goes a couple of seasons without any problems, there will be a little bit of a "waiting for the other shoe to drop" feel to him. What if Drummond never improves his free throw shooting enough to justify being on the floor at the end of games?

I think I'd ultimately be happy with either one. For the Lakers, because the core is so young, I probably go with Drummond because he is right about the same age as the rest of the Lakers core. But I would be just as happy if they were to get Whiteside.

this is the playoffs! LeBron looks amazing!!! the Big 3- according to Ty Lue has NEVER played better together....Kyrie is averaging 26 points a game and shooting over 50% from 3....Love looks AGGRESSIVE for once!!! Some people on here picked this to go 6 games and it sure seems like the Cavs are gonna bring out the brooms and get some time off- while GSW plays a longer series against Houston and is trying to get Steph healthy...

not only that but Shumpert has been playing great D...Delly plays great D, gets assists and NEVER turns the ball over...Jr Smith rains triples

We so very thoroughly apologize for getting excited about our team and the NBA playoffs.....sorry....cue the old sad bastard music....

its not a rainstorm on the Lakers parade--- its more like if Hurricane Katrina lasted for months (or years)! YA never know when it can all come crashing down. The last time the Lakers won a playoff game was the '11/'12 season- did you ever think it was POSSIBLE- that it looks like the Lakers wont win a playoff game for what seems likely AT LEAST 5-6 SEASONS (and possibly even 7-8)?!!!!! I sure didnt ill tell ya- it can all go away tomorrow unexpectedly.

Fans of teams that have actually won something don't get excited and hold parades for beating an 8 seed. Regardless of whether or not people predicted the Cavs to lose a game or 2, no one picked them to lose the series. They are doing what they are supposed to do as the 1 seed.
