Its really only Wiggy. For the most part, we all get along with Gordon

I'm still waiting for Wiggy to hook me up w/ a Danny Ferry throwback jersey!

I have an old school Cavs light blue, black and orange hat with these cavaliers pins on it with some autographs from that era- or shortly after that era most-like....alas one is not Danny's. I think one is a Terrell Brandon though- i know thats not NEAR impressive as Danny Ferry but ya gotta take what ya can get i guess.

You guys are probably going to lose to Atlanta.

*mic drop*
they are...but theres no shame in that. The Celtics are on the right track. Last year they got to the playoffs...this year win a game or two- and in the offseason use all your cap space and up to FOUR! first round picks to improve- young guys like Smart etc. get a little better...get everyone some playoff experience. They are a very young team.

Hawks are in a lot different place. Horford and Milsap are def the best 2 players in this series- and depending on the night Teague COULD be the 3rd best- him or Isiah....but theres no doubt in my mind the Hawks have at least 3 of the 4 best players- they are all veterans that have played a lot of playoff basketball- they won 60 games last year- and they too have a pretty darn good coach.

Its just not the Celtics time yet...its coming...they are taking the right steps- but at the end of the day i dont think they have the talent or veteran experience to beat the Hawks.

Only once in LeBron's career has he not been his teams leading scorer for a playoff series--- the Finals loss against the Mavericks.

In this series Kyrie Irving would make it the 2nd time- and obviously they will win this series. Pretty nice support for LeBron.

As great as James was in Game 3 -- 20 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists is no slouch of a night -- it was Kyrie Irving's star that shined brightest for Cleveland.

In what was his finest, most-controlled, yet subtly-spectacular performance since returning to the court in December from offseason surgery to repair a fractured left kneecap, Irving poured in a game-high 26 points on 11-for-20 shooting, dished out four assists against only two turnovers and hit the shot of the night -- an impossible catch-and-shoot corner 3 with just 0.7 seconds on the shot clock that gave the Cavs an unassailable eight-point lead with less than a minute left.

"It's growing. This is a growing night for our team. The fact that I didn't play particularly well offensively, as far as shooting the ball, and I was able to take a step backwards and rely on Kyrie and Kevin [Love] to pick us up offensively ...

Yet since he came back to Cleveland for a second stint, the hope was he could ease his burden by letting Irving and Love carry him every once in a while. And eventually on a regular basis.

It's the reason he publicly praised Irving's league MVP potential in January. And it's why he closed ranks around the point guard when Irving went through a public break-up a couple of months later. He sees something special in Irving, even if there is a stubborn exterior that James has to get through to bring it out of him.

Much to James' satisfaction, Irving has seized the moment. He's back to writing "Whiplash" on his sneakers before playoff games, Irving's nod to the obsessive nature it takes to win at the highest level. "Overly prepared right now," Iman Shumpert, one of Irving's closest friends on the team, told ESPN.com. "I think he's overly prepared himself."

And his mental toughness has impressed the entire organization. "His ability to play through negatives," Cavs general manager David Griffin told ESPN.com when asked what has struck him the most about the groove in which Irving finds himself. "He used to spit the bit when things got hard."

The Cavs' Big Three is having an enormous impact once again and the hierarchy is proving to be malleable. Step right up, Kyrie Irving. Your time is now. "Kyrie was Kyrie," said Cavs coach Tyronn Lue. "We've seen it before. We see it all the time."

And what does Kyrie do? "I'm not going to ever stop shooting or being who I am," Irving said.

Nor should they want him to.

Not sure how much Heat you watch, but would you rather have
Drummond or Whiteside as your C, long term?

Anyone else?

Normally, I would say Drummond...no contest.

But, the free throw struggles can really turn a game.

What Whiteside has done, improving DRAMATICALLY, shows he is willing to put in the work to be successful.

Will your Clippers take care of business tonight?

Its looking more and more like they are going to change the rules on off ball fouls this off season. So this might be the last time we see this.
Adam Silver: Hack-a-Shaq rule could exist by July

I wonder if they will change anything under 2 minutes. Right now, even though you can't offball foul under 2 minutes, part of play can be considered rebounding, or setting a screen ect. I think one game Reddick jumped on Drummond's back during a rebound to get a foul.

I think the rule will help Jordan more than Dwight or Drummond. LAC doesn't run plays for Jordan. I'm pretty sure the rule won't stop you from fouling when the player has the ball in his hands

All against 8 seeds in their conference......
The point of that post wasn't the 6-0 record. It was the fact that they've only had them together for 6 playoff games.

And yet so many have their mind made up about what they are capable of.

Fans of teams that have actually won something don't get excited and hold parades for beating an 8 seed.

Wait.... who's holding a parade??

Cause I want to go!!!!

All in the 1st round against 7/8 seeds.

Exactly! So you agree with my point that we don't yet know what this group is capable of!

It's 50/50. We just don't know yet. I'm not even focusing on the Cavs, because as I mentioned earlier - the first two rounds are a wash for them. Let's see what they do against Indiana/Miami/Toronto in the ECF. I don't include Charlotte because I can't take them serious as a contender to the Cavs. Toronto I put in there because they're the 2-seed, and that's it. Paul George is scary good, which is why Indiana's a decent team. But none of them will beat the Cavs, it's just how many games will they force the Cavs to play.

The real test comes in the Finals. This has been said since last season, and it will continue now.
