Haven't watched even 1 second of it. But then, I've barely started Season 3 of Breaking Bad.
take your free gifts from the holliday a couple days ago- fumar- and strap in to your favorite comfy chair and watch.

So good.

Breaking Bad is great too- dont get me wrong- loved it- its a linear story with a beginning middle and end- very entertaining. I have it in my top 5 for sure

Game of Thrones is just different. Its a cultural phenomenon in many ways. Its huge in scope. The cost to produce it is staggering. It honestly feels more like 10 mini-movies than it does a TV show for each season. The characters are amazing, the writing is amazing etc. Its just awesome.

Martin has done a great job of burying really cool reveals all through out that jump out at you. The major event at the end of season 3 is foreshadowed with little bread crumbs you never see coming until its too late.

This season passes up the as yet unpublished books - and the greatest reveal is probably coming soon. The status of Jon Snow and who his parents truly are.

Have you read the books?

I may do that this summer when the only sport worth watching is baseball and it's a million degrees outside. My wife is a huge Game of Thrones fan and it drives her nuts that she can't talk to me about it. I can only follow so many shows during football and basketball seasons.

It doesn't get any better than Breaking Bad. Best TV drama ever IMO.

Better Call Saul is damn good too.
i really did love breaking bad. Some of the later episodes were just so good and so heartbreaking.

Not many shows end on a high note- but BB did....its was really good. Unlike other shows though- it had a beginning middle and end that the writers kind of knew--- that it would begin with WW getting diagnosed with cancer and end with his demise. It was a great show- the scenery of New MExico is just extraordinary as well...the train heist episode...so many cool things about this show.

The Wire, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones are my favorites. Game of Thrones might not be the best - but its the best and biggest in its scope and production and ensemble cast and look etc...its just HUGE.

yes...including the Dunk and Egg and World of Ice and Fire stuff too...

The 6th boo kwas supposed to come out before this season began but Martin couldnt finish it in time...now the show is going to spoil some of the upcoming book which as far as i know is unprecedented in TV history.

One of the funniest shows on TV right now. Erlich is the best.

Yeah it is. Oddly enough, I feel like I relate to both he and Gilfoyle (outside of the whole Satanic worshipping of course).

Breaking Bad is good, but it's no Banshee (hands down my favorite tv show, possibly ever).

Hints to watching Game Of Thrones.

Enjoy the nudity, violence, sex, and the dwarf.
Ignore trying to follow all of the too many story lines.

I loved everything about BB. The acting was top notch. The cinematography was incredible.

I need to binge The Wire. That is supposed to be an incredible show as well.

the Wire is unbelievable...

The last few episodes of season three, running into season 4-i think are probably the best TV ever made....

the Wire is just a powerful, important, and very entertaining show. Its a must watch in my book not only for its entertainment value but its social commentary that you cant help but pick up and feel just totally dissatisfied with our institutions- whether it be the police force, schools, government, etc. Its a landmark show.
