Hahahahaha
He punched a dude that got lippy and got a speeding ticket. Yeah, lets send him to prison

6 games? That's funny

So are we ignoring the other legal issues he has had recently?

Report: Dallas police investigation into Ezekiel Elliott altercation could come to halt due to uncooperative witness | SportsDay

It's looking like Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott may get a break in the Sunday altercation he has been connected to.

An anonymously sourced report by WFAA-TV Ch. 8's Rebecca Lopez claims that the Dallas Police Department will "most likely" suspend the case because the alleged victim is not being cooperative.

According to Lopez's tweets, the victim -- whom the police had to reach out to on Twitter to get contact in the first place -- gave the department an old address and a wrong phone number.

I was all set to defend Zeke. The last incident was totally unproven and I don't know how that can be punishable. Next I read where a player, a grownup, should not be in a bar. WTF? I also heard that he was attacked by a drunk and again saw no problem with defending yourself if that was true.

But damned knocking a guy out after you already have history and talk of a suspension is already in the air? Now I agree he should get 2 just for being so stupid.
Kind of agree, separately no issue, but as you add thevissues together you have to say WTF?

As of now the worse Zeke could be convicted for is exposing a drunk girls titty. Let's ve honest, how many males here wouldn't do the same if opportunity presented itself?

We'll see about proof. Sure, right now there doesn't seem to be any. Where's the video? Thrown in the trash? Burned? I heard a believable account from someone that was there saying he was hammered. I could see him punching someone that called him out on his other legal stuff whether he was hammered or not. We'll see.

And if he gets away with it, he wouldn't be the first. If the league suspends him simply for bringing negative light upon himself and the league, he wouldn't be the first for that either.

I heard some talking head on ESPN say the kid has been doing this shit since high school and has never gotten in trouble. If that's true, Dirt is right. He' s a punk

Anyone who has spent any time on Lower Greenville Avenue on St. Patricks Day has seen this occur... among more graphic items of debauchery.

I know I have.

Like what?

Speeding? Dating a bitch? visiting a legal pot shop?

And she had already done so on her own, and did so again afterwards.

Still wrong, but it isn't like she wasn't out there doing the same.

Quite a few punks in the world and the NFL, that's not against the rules or law.

Zeke is turning into Trump. If he keeps coming up with new issues and distracting attention from the "old issues" Roger won't know what to do or what to focus on. It's a brilliant defense.

This is what concerns me. I (perhaps naively) don't think he assaulted the girlfriend. I think he probably punched the guy or at the very least was involved, but how and why (self defense or maybe the guy was "that guy" at the bar that we all think deserved it) does make a difference. I think anyone who thinks he did anything wrong on St Patty's Day is a hypocrite or spends their life in Church. So I don't really think there is anything substantial with any of these transgressions. But there sure do seem to be a lot of "meaningless" transgressions.

What worries me is all of these, combined with the pre-draft talk makes me think it isn't all just bad luck. I am worried he MAY be a spoiled little bastard that has been coddled his whole life and has been allowed to do what he wants, when he wants and gotten away with it. That will be exposed now that he is an NFL Super Star living under the Dallas Cowboy spotlight and more so now that people are starting to expect it from him. So he either matures or this gets worse before it gets better.

It amazes me sometimes the short sightedness of some pro athletes.........You wonder if Elliott realizes the money he probably has already cost himself in marketing opps, the money he COULD cost himself contractually in the future, where he could put himself historically in the NFL (I think he's that good), etc.etc........Some of these guys man, you just have to wonder what they are thinking

Didnt the Cowboys literally assign a person to Dez Bryant when he was getting in some trouble early in his career?
You may see that again

Pulling a woman's shirt down in public. Domestic Abuse allegations leveled against him. And even if it was a legal pot shop when the league doesn't allow for that yes it is a very bad look for him. Also has an excessive speeding with going 100 in a 70 mph zone. From what I have read he has had quite a few traffic incidents in a very short time to the point his license got suspended and he still had incidents then with it suspended.

I would hope plenty wouldn't do that against a woman's wishes.

Sounds about right. I guess if it keeps working until he retires go for it. I would think the law would eventually catch up with him as my guess is the more he gets away with things the bigger things he ends up doing down the road and one of them could get him thrown in prison. I saw it with another Ohio State RB in Maurice Clarrett where he had gotten away with so much crap for so long he just thought he was untouchable. Well the law finally caught up to his stupidity/arrogance and it was not pretty.
