Well, I was just answering the question that you asked after pointing out that they did in fact draft a couple of starter-level D-Lineman over the past couple of years.
As to the point that you are trying to make, I agree that the defensive players are all aging, because that's what happens from one day to the next for all of us. I wouldn't agree that they an aged defense however-- most of their starters are somewhere near prime football age. And I'm not at all sure that the Seahawks back ups are any worse than any other team's back ups.
Obviously there are only so many draft picks, and teams generally address their present needs as well as future speculated needs during any given draft. I'm certain that PC/JS have used both frameworks in how they have drafted. You can have the opinion that they haven't done it well, or should have done it differently, or whatever. But for the most part I personally just don't agree with most of the points that you are making. Shrug.
